Northwest Palace, Nimrud, Great Northern Courtyard

P - View south across the Great Northern Courtyard  (re-rendered to simulate carved limestone). Reliefs' coloration here is based on photographs of similar reliefs published in Christie's Auction catalogue.  Original images are taken from drawings, some of which have dashed lines and areas to indicate missing portions; thus, the irregularity of some of the reliefs' outlines.

O - Great Northern Courtyard reliefs D5-D9 (re-rendered to simulate carved limestone). Reliefs' coloration here is based on photographs of similar reliefs published in Christie's Auction catalogue.  Original images are taken from drawings, some of which have dashed lines and areas to indicate missing portions; thus, the irregularity of some of the reliefs' outlines.
